Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all ticket purchases for the UK Permanent Makeup Conference and Awards (the Event), organised by Body and Brows Events Ltd (we, us, our). By purchasing, possessing, or attending with a valid ticket, you (the ticket holder, attendee, purchaser) agree to these terms in full.
General
The UK Permanent Makeup Conference and Awards is operated on a not-for-profit basis, meaning all ticket revenue is reinvested directly into event production, venue costs, speaker fees, and delegate experience.
Please read these Terms carefully before purchasing. By completing a transaction, you agree to be bound by them.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Ticket Purchase and Payment Plans
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to pay for it in full.
If purchasing via a subscription or payment plan, payments are processed through Stripe using the card used at checkout.
All tickets must be paid in full no later than 90 days before the event.
Tickets not fully paid by this date will be automatically cancelled and forfeited without refund or alternative.
Forfeited tickets may be released for resale at the organiser’s discretion.
Refunds, Cancellations and Transfers
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable under any circumstances except where required under UK consumer law.
Ticket purchases cannot be returned, exchanged, or cancelled.
The event operates under a strict no-refund policy, as funds are allocated to confirmed costs upon purchase.
However, ticket holders may transfer their ticket to another individual by email request, subject to approval by the organiser.
To process a transfer, we must receive the new attendee’s full name, email address, contact number, and dietary requirements.
Transfers must be completed no later than 14 days prior to the event start date.
The new ticket holder assumes all terms, conditions, and responsibilities of attendance.
Payment Pause and Subscription Transfers
In exceptional circumstances, we may agree to pause subscription payments before the 90-day payment deadline.
At that point, the organiser will contact the attendee to confirm whether they wish to complete payment and attend, or forfeit the ticket.
Alternatively, another individual may take over an existing subscription, continuing payments from the point they were paused, subject to organiser approval.
Event Changes and Programme
While every effort is made to deliver the published programme, the organiser reserves the right to make changes, substitutions, or adjustments to speakers, timings, sessions, or delivery formats without notice.
Such changes do not entitle the attendee to a refund or credit.
The organiser may postpone, reschedule, or relocate the event if necessary. In such cases, all existing tickets remain valid.
Where a recorded replay is included with a ticket or purchased separately, the organiser will make reasonable efforts to provide access. However, due to technical issues, platform failure, speaker restrictions, or circumstances beyond the organiser’s control, the replay may be unavailable in part or in full. In such cases, no refund, partial refund, or compensation will be due.
Event Cancellation
If the event is cancelled in its entirety due to unforeseen circumstances (including but not limited to natural disasters, national emergencies, or other factors beyond our control), Body and Brows Events Ltd reserves the right to:
• Reschedule the event to a new date or venue • Issue a partial or full refund • Offer an alternative comparable event
The organiser’s decision in such matters shall be final.
Refunds, if applicable, will only cover the face value of the ticket. Processing fees, handling fees, or exchange rate losses are non-refundable.
Attendance and Conduct
All attendees must register at the event check-in desk to collect their official conference lanyard and badge. These must be worn visibly at all times throughout the event.
Lanyards serve as proof of registration and are required for entry into all sessions, workshops, and networking areas.
Admission is subject to venue rules and organiser discretion.
Disorderly, disruptive, or inappropriate conduct may result in removal from the event without refund.
Latecomers may be admitted only during suitable breaks.
Attendees are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and personal expenses.
Discounted rates for parking and accommodation may be available through the venue but are subject to availability and change.
Attendees may not promote, market, sell, or distribute products or services at the event without being an approved sponsor, exhibitor, or vendor, or without prior written permission from the organiser. This includes, but is not limited to, flyering, distributing samples, direct selling, taking orders, soliciting clients, or displaying promotional materials. Any unauthorised commercial activity may result in removal from the event without refund and confiscation of materials.
Photography, Filming and Media
By attending the event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded.
Images or footage may be used by the organiser for marketing, promotional, or documentation purposes without compensation or further consent.
Liability
The organiser accepts no liability for loss, damage, or injury except where caused by negligence or where liability cannot be excluded under UK law.
Attendees voluntarily assume all risks associated with attending the event.
Communication
All official communication will be sent via email to the address provided at the time of purchase.
It is the attendee’s responsibility to ensure their contact details are accurate and regularly monitored.
Any formal complaints regarding the event must be submitted in writing to ukpmuconference@bodyandbrows.com within 14 days of the event’s conclusion.
Chargebacks and Disputes
Chargebacks or payment disputes raised without first contacting the organiser to attempt resolution may result in the ticket being cancelled without refund.
If a dispute cannot be resolved, the matter may be referred to an independent third-party arbiter.
Prohibited Use
Tickets may not be copied, resold, or used for advertising, competitions, or promotions without prior written consent from the organiser.
Any such use may result in cancellation of the ticket without refund.
Tickets obtained through unauthorised sources are considered invalid and may be refused entry.
Final Clause
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Body and Brows Events Ltd reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
